AI Readiness : Technical governance

ServiceNow governance ensures that the platform is effectively managed, aligned with organizational goals, and delivers consistent value. It involves setting up a structured framework for decision-making, defining roles and responsibilities, and establishing clear guidelines for development, maintenance, and usage. The governance board decides who needs to be involved in the decision making process , and should contain the following people:

• Platform Architect

• Quality Assurance Lead

• Platform Owner

• Security/Compliance Lead

• IT Domain Owners

• Development Lead

• Program Manager(s)

• User Experience Lead

• Business Analysts
  

The governance body will act as the decision-making body for platform technical aspects, evaluating design options, development standards, UI guidelines, and data governance strategies and decide:

• When the meeting will take place

• How the board will make decisions: Set an agenda and prepare items for review in advance
